Making links
How do I make a link?
Connect Linkit to ChatGPT or Claude once (in Linkit, open Connect AI for the steps). Then, in a chat, send your photos and say what you want, for example “Make a page for my apartment, up for 7 days.” Your AI designs the page and gives you its link.
How long does a link stay up?
As long as you choose: 1 hour, 5 hours, 1 day, 7 days, your own time (up to a year) or forever. Change it any time in My links, or ask your AI. When the time is up, the link stops working on its own.
Can I change a page after I've shared it?
Yes. Ask your AI to change it. The link stays the same, so everyone who has it sees the new version.
How do I take a link down?
In My links, delete it, or ask your AI to. It stops working for everyone straight away and waits in Recently deleted for 30 days, in case you want it back.
Can I get back something I deleted?
Yes, for 30 days. Deleted links are in My links → Recently deleted, where you can preview them and restore them at the same address. Deleted photos are in Saved items → Recently deleted, and go back to their folders when you restore them. After 30 days, or when you choose Delete for good or Empty, they're erased and can't come back.
Can I add my own videos?
With Linkit Pro, send a video to ChatGPT and ask for it on your page. Videos can be up to 60 seconds and are converted to play smoothly on any phone. Any plan can show YouTube and Vimeo videos.
Why can't Claude use the photos I attach in its chat?
Claude can't pass attached photos on to Linkit yet. Add them in Linkit instead (Saved items → ＋ New → Upload photos), then ask Claude to use your latest photos. ChatGPT can take photos straight from the chat.
Your library
Where are my photos?
In Saved items. Sorted shows your folders, Unsorted holds new photos your AI hasn't filed yet, and All shows everything. Photos stay until you delete them, even after the links that used them end.
How do I sort my photos?
Ask ChatGPT or Claude to “sort my unsorted Linkit photos.” It suggests folders and labels and files them once you agree. You can also move photos yourself by selecting them and choosing Move to folder.
Who can see my photos?
Only you. Your library is private. People only see the photos on pages you publish, and only while those links are up.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
In Linkit, open Account → Delete account. It deletes your pages, folders, photos and sign-in straight away. Any links you shared stop working at once.
I didn't get a sign-in or confirmation email.
Check your spam or promotions folder for an email from support@linkitapp.ai, then try again. Still nothing? Write to us.
Report a page
If a Linkit page tries to trick people, asks for passwords or payment details, or shows something harmful or illegal, tap Report this page at the bottom of it, or email support@linkitapp.ai with the page's link and what's wrong. We review every report and take down pages that break our terms. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
